Welcome to ChapelYouth! We exist to equip your students with the tools that they need to enjoy a thriving relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this through our encounter, encourage, enjoy method. At its core, ChapelYouth is designed for your student to have an encounter with Jesus. We believe that behavior change apart from the power of God is devoid of real power. In addition, we encourage your student to make their faith their own. It is only through ownership that they can truly grow. Our meetings are not designed as a replacement for personal study, but an encouragement towards it. Finally, the goal our student ministry is that they would learn not to endure Christianity, but to enjoy the riches of Jesus Christ. It is our belief that the strongest way for your student to continue growing in Christ after student ministry is for their obedience to issue from a heart that has fallen in love with God, not from obligation.
Youth is currently meeting from 5 – 6:30 at the Lofts Apartments (65 Redbud Ln). All students grades 6 – 12 are welcome. Whether your student has been a believer for years, or is just starting out on their faith journey, they will find community and resources suitable for them. Its a fun time with lots of laughing and jokes, but also a time to come ready to worship and learn about the God who created and loves us.
Youth group is lead by our Youth Pastor, Max Foster, assisted by our Lead Pastor, Cole Floyd and a few really talented and committed volunteers from the Chapel Family. Having really solid volunteers allows us to create small groups that are age and gender specific, so your student is never left without a suitable context in which they can ask questions and grow in their faith.
